I visited this website after mashable.com reported this website launched. They also noted it has a nice design and boy it steps on everybody when it comes to putting up a VERY nice looking website.

The website itself is something between Delicious and Digg with a nice verb use of Bluedot name in Dot This! in compare to Digg-this!. The idea is fairly simple, You find something that you want to share with the community. you can Dot-it with a very Simple and “Dont get in my way” interface and thats it.

Its beautifully designed and give alot of weight on the User side in customizing your profile with changing backgrounds and patterns, Avatars and every thing you can think of that a social website needs.
You can setup your own tags and bookmark under public or private to your friends only list. Everything is big and bright and you really have to be a complete moron not to understand how to use it.

Everything has its own help attached to it with flash movies explaining the process of Dotting something. I feel obligated almost to share the very nice interface they created for dotting things. Unlike digg that throws you to their website inorder to publish something. Bluedot toke the Anti disturbing way dues making me use their service more then digg 3.0 or any other social publishing websites.Why? Because With a simple “Fav’ Bookmarks” toolbar in explorer or Firefox you place a small button that launchs a Window ontop of the website you wish to dot.

with a nice engine that tags the website according to its domain name (Sickofmusic.com - Music tag) and another very nice feature of a small gallery of all the images presented in the dotted website that you can select from to represent the dotted website in bluedot… Its Just amazing. They really went he extra mile in making the website as easly as possible.
Bluedot is also Very Blog friendly social website with abilitys to Put “My dots” widget on your blog, Auto Dott Posts and much more its just a Must have for all web users out there.
